Mascoma Lake — Attraction in Enfield

It’s a Great Lake for boating, fishing. plenty of airbnbs with lake access. Public boat launch. There is a public beach for Enfield and Lebanon residence but really anyone can go there and swim it is close to the road and bridge. We did have a mill that did pollute the lake with the dies and whatever else goes with a textile mills. Some of the things that wasn’t fully understood back in the 1800s. Love going out fishing on Mascoma! It's a fairly large lake with a lot of area to explore. Some deep pockets for catching carp, but also shadow weeds for bass, pickerel. Some trout fishing is common around the northern portion of the lake near the boat launch. Generally not too much boat traffic even during the summer and trash/pollution is kept...

It is one of my favorite places in the world. And I've been many places. Beautiful in all seasons. Often misty in the morning. Listening to the sound of loons will forever give me chills. Great place for boating, swimming, fishing, and even ice fishing. There are some rope swings if you know where to look. A wonderful place for fun...
