The Englewood Reserve is such a nice metro park! They have a play ground near Patty's shelter that is fabulous. Both of my kids adore playing here. It is surprisingly accessible. If your kid can play in the backyard, they can play here. The playground is set back from the parking, but if you can get your kid through a lawn it shouldn't be too difficult. There is a slide at the top of a hill(no ladders or steps to get to it) a tunnel and a giant log. Even when my daughter couldn't walk through the grass she could find a place to play here. And it is very close to a paved trail! Only downside is the bathroom is a...

This Metropark is beautiful and is a must visit if you are in the area. There are numerous trails to hike with views of waterfalls, creeks and rivers, and native trees and flowers. There is also a paved wheelchair accessible trail, a disk golf course, playground, sand volleyball courts, picnic shelters and tables, restrooms, charcoal grills, fishing areas, and camp grounds. The park is well...

The hiking trails are wide and well maintained. The waterfalls I saw were interesting, but not impressive. The water flow was minimal during our fall hike. There was still a little bit of color, but most of the leaves were off the trees. The nature play area for kids was nice. It was not clear that most of the road through the park was one way from the main...

I had the pleasure of visiting this place last fall, in October 2023. I got to see the leaves in full color change, and Ohio in full fall foliage. It was magnificent. The park itself has numerous trails, picnic areas, and places to be. It hugs the Stillwater River, so one has access to the banks, water, and trails there as well. I would love to visit again.
