Really loved this place for a late season wakeboarding spot. The wind was up to 20mph from the sw but the dam did an excellent job blocking all day and kept the water flat all the way till sunset. Sadly due to flooding some time back(according to the park employee), there is no courtesy docks so after we launched the boat we had to swim out to the floating boat. We were the only rowboat out there so it made for a perfect day working behind the boat.

My wife and I love all the people that come out to see us and just want to say Thank you!!!! Crappie are starting to come in and we are getting some new things for the season. Come on out and see us for a good day on the lake with good people all around. Sure makes for a great atmosphere not to mention the crappie are moving in it's going to be a great year!!!!!m

Love this place. People are nice, park is clean well kept . Green grass sites are level for the most part . It's the perfect spot to get away to. Boating on the lake is fun to. If you have small kids big kids just you and the wife or husband it doesn't matter I would recommend this place.

It has really gone downhill. There is never anyone at the gate. We were there for a week before we finally got our tag that is outside on a clip board. I saw the attendant make morning rounds around the park, you don't see anyone else for the rest of the day. It needs mowed, and the bathrooms are full of spiders and junebugs, waters hot tho. We saw a fight one night with some drunk kids, with the most disgusting language in front of small children. Still, nobody came around, not even the police were called. Then someone decides to have a mini firework show on the lake, and STILL nobody came! 🙄 people were in and out of the park at all hours of the night. I would not...

One of the most racist locations. We were bothered repeatedly while ALL the white people who were next to us doing the exact same thing, we’re left to enjoy there day. So many white people openly smoking and drinking in the lake, however they were not bothered by any of the staff. The sheriff drove around and completely disregarded ALL the white people breaking rules. The staff is Incredibly rude. What a disappointment, thought since there’s a fee it would be a nicer family oriented location. If you are Hispanic, Black, or of any other race other than white then I recommend you avoid...
