I have passed by this spot many times when I visited Wallowas County over the years without stopping, because I didn't think.it was long or high enough to be interesting. I was wrong

Read moreThis is a really nice hike with some great views and a lot of history. It's a very significant cultural site for the Nez Peirce tribe. This is their homeland and we are fortunate to be able to walk the same ground in this beautiful place.. be careful there is cougars and bears along with the deer who call this place home. Take nothing and leave only footprints to help protect these beautiful trails..
