We were pleasantly surprised to find this western themed park to let our toddler loose. The grounds seemed to be maintained and bathrooms pretty clean on the two separate occasions we stopped by. Although on one morning there were a few homeless who were just waking up and leaving the park when we arrived. I scanned the grounds and playground before letting my kid play and didn’t find anything alarming. The playground was never busy and the area seemed to be frequented more by people walking their dogs than kids. The walking path around the park has a little open field for kids and pets to roam. A few tables with BBQ grills are next to the playground and have a neat wagon theme. My kid enjoyed seeing the resident peacock roaming the neighborhood and also someone riding their horse across from the park. There is a large playground and smaller playground for toddlers. There are also swings for older kids and toddlers between the restrooms and windmill. Besides basic wear and tear I didn’t notice any damage or graffiti. On the two days we visited, the park was clean so I’m a little surprised by other reviews mentioning that it was dirty. We’d visit again if we’re...

Our grandson enjoys bringing us to this well maintained park to play. We're happy to tag along, since he's only three, and his feet can't reach the car pedals yet. lol We have walked to the park a couple time's, yet as grandparent's, we prefer to save our energy to adventure through the park!
The park has some nice updates to the playground equipment, plus the restrooms were recently cleaned. We deeply appreciate that! The water pressure is very low with no soap, so some hand sanitizer or soap would be appreciated.
Kudos for making this park a favorite for; swings, slides, picnics, dog walking, hiking, event activities to relaxing and making new friends.
We also enjoy the peacocks that often stroll...
Read moreThis park is so cute, clean, and safe. Very rustic, western themed, and almost quaint. You forget you're in the city. There are horse stables all around. It's really fun for the kids to see the horses being ridden on the trails and out getting exercised. The first time we brought friends to this park, a family of peacock were crossing the road. So adorable. There are 5 or six stagecoach BBQ pits/tables and a large stadium style fire pit. Even the bathrooms are designed as an old country store and "apothecary". There is a very nice walking trail and faux river beds for the kids to explore. It isn't completely fenced in but there are good boundaries. The jungle gyms are for kids 2-7ish... It says 3-5 but the older kids seems to still enjoy it. Really fun...
