This is John Stone's wife, Lyn, using his Google account to contact you. . This is the stone dwelling that my grandfather, Harry Allyn, built. We have been there a few times ourselves and taken pictures. He and my grandmother raised sheep on this property and my dad, Robert Bruce Allyn, born 1909 in Spokane, and his sister Dorothy, born 1911, spent their young childhoods here in this stone house before moving later to Bellingham. I have family pictures and stories of their life at Willow Lake. We hope to make a trip...

Very cool place to visit. You will need 4wd to see it and road conditions might be poor if wet but very unique. I went in a different way that I came out and saw a sign that read "authorized vehicles only" or something on it. Didn't see that coming in though. There's shards of glass from other visitors breaking beer bottles in the base of the homestead so that's...

Very cool place to visit. You will need 4wd to see it and road conditions might be poor if wet but very unique. I went in a different way that I came out and saw a sign that read "authorized vehicles only" or something on it. Didn't see that coming in though. There's shards of glass from other visitors breaking beer bottles in the base of the homestead so that's kind of a bummer
