DURING COVID DON'T BUY YOUR TICKETS AHEAD, as you'll be out those funds if for any reason you can't make it (only one show offered during covid). There is NO other show to use the ticket toward, and they WON'T let you use the unused tickets for next season if part of your group cancels due to illness (like covid).
Not impressed at all with how they treat covid situations, when people are trying to do the right thing if symptoms occur, so stayed home to protect others. The woman I spoke with on the phone a few days later actually said it might have only been a cold, like the two in our group that were showing symptoms should have just gone ahead and went. Seriously?! Kitsap is having a major outbreak of covid, and this is the message the Forest Theater is sending???
Additionally, you are sitting IN THE DIRT, with those in front of you blocking your view, as each level is not nearly graduated enough. Bring upper end stadium seats, as the rented ones disappear early.
Casts are talented, but you are packed in like sardines. People bring young children that are not at all suited to this type of performance who are bored silly, so constantly creating distractions and talking most of the time. If the cast wasn't so very talented I would give the experience 1 star.

Read moreGreat outdoor theater with two or three productions scheduled between May and September each year. It's a steep walk down to the theater so go early. You can bring your own food and drinks in. No alcohol because it's a family attraction. Handicapped patrons have special access so they don't have to deal with the walk in. Buy your tickets online...it's easy and slightly cheaper. We love going here. Would definitely recommend! Would also Ms bringing your own stadium seat, but they also have rentals available. There's nothing better than enjoying a good play in the middle of nature. 😁We just enjoyed an incredible performance of "Big Fish". It's a must see event. You won't be disappointed! The next performance in September is A Midsummer...
Read moreGreat actors!!! Not so great staff. Seating is the most uncomfortable I've experienced, I included a picture of the seat. Concrete and uneven. They don't have enough cushions to rent to guests. I was waiting in line to rent for my party of 3 and the girl looked at me and had me wait while she sent someone to get change for the person in front of me and after they left she stood there for another minute and then told me she was sold out. It wasn't a short time and I felt like she had multiple opportunities to tell me the person in front of me was getting the last one so I would not be standing there for nothing for so long. Super rude. But the actors were super good and now I know if I go back, bring something...
