I just got back from a weekend retreat that was hosted at Cherokee Creek Farm and it was the absolute PERFECT place for a relaxing getaway! From the moment I stepped foot on the property, I felt any and all stress melting away. The house, built in 1830, has been beautifully restored, updating it to include modern amenities while preserving as much of its original construction and beauty as possible. The grounds are peaceful and provide a respite from the busy-ness of every day life, with gently rolling lawns, a babbling creek, and lush plants and flowers everywhere you turn. The owner, Angie, and her right hand, Mary, are the kindest, most thoughtful, and welcoming people, ensuring that every detail of your stay is handled with care, anticipating needs before we could even think of them, and making us feel right at home at every opportunity. Our meals were catered nightly by the talented onsite chef, Chef Neal, who poured his abundant creativity, passion and flavor into each dish. Cherokee Creek Farm was truly the perfect venue for our wedding weekend, and I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful or seamless experience. From the moment we started planning, Angie was absolutely amazing to work with. Her and her team were so detail-oriented and organized, making the entire process stress-free. Every little aspect of the day was thought through and executed perfectly.

The decor (from rehearsal dinner to reception) was beyond anything I could have dreamed of. It was stunning, exactly what we envisioned, and honestly better than I could have imagined. The venue’s charm and natural beauty created a magical atmosphere that our guests are still talking about.
