Del Rio Vista Garden — Attraction in Escalon

I got married here this past summer. The venue was so beautiful that I kind of didn't care what services they offered. When we got into the details it was revealed that they do about 80% of the work. The only things I had to do was get a photographer, an officiant, and insurance and this venue had phone numbers of people they recommend for that. I talked to some friends and they said it was weird for a venue to do the flowers and I started to get a bit nervous.

I don't think we were good clients, we missed pretty much every deadline from payments to seating charts (which we never ended up submitting, but people got sat and it worked out really well). We were busy and micromanaging a wedding was not something we had a lot of time for. But the owners were very understanding and gently reminded us of what we needed to do. When the day itself came the place was perfect, decorated exactly how I wanted it and I don't think we were specific at all in what we wanted.

If you are a control freak and need to know/plan every detail then I don't think this place is for you. But if you just want to get married and have somebody else do 80% of the work to make it happen I cannot recommend the Del Rio Vista Garden enough. On just the venue I paid about ~$20k and it was worth every penny.

I may be slightly biased as the bride but Del Rio Vista Garden helped us have the best wedding I've ever been to! Bertha, Melissa and the team completely understood and executed our rainbow vision and transformed the already beautiful space into a wonderland of color and magic. They were more than willing to accommodate all our requests, no matter how unusual or non-traditional they may have been. Living in Fremont, it took a while to find this place but I am so so happy we did! And it was definitely worth the drive. With most guests living in the bay area, we thought that traveling to Escalon would be about the same as traveling to Napa but without the Napa price tag. And during the reception I had guests asking me, in awe, how we found the venue. Everyone remarked on the beauty and ideal setup and talked about how impressed they were with it! Everything from the amazing flowers, and the great food and delicious cake, to the kind and attentive staff, and the awesome dj (though I was a bit confused when he played Here Comes Santa Claus during the reception) made our day perfect.

We are so happy to have found Del Rio Vista Garden and wouldn't hesitant for an instant in recommending them for your event! Thank you Bertha and crew...

I can only share my experience as a guest of a wedding but what we experienced was truly exceptional. Of course the venue is stunning and clean but what really sets it apart was the staff. We had assistance parking, help finding our way, and great service throughout the night. Cody was over our table and not only did he keep it tidy and supplied with lots of ice cold water (it was 106 degrees!) but he helped me keep an eye on my busy kids. My husband was part of the wedding party and busy most of the night, it was just me watching the kids. I was concerned about my two little ones near the river and pond but everything was so secure. If I went chasing one Cody knew right where the other one was. It made my night so much more enjoyable. Cody, if you are reading this another big hug to you. If you are Cody's boss...give that boy a raise! Thank you to all for making our guest experience...
