Stuyt Dairy Farmstead Cheese — Attraction in Escalon

First time checking out Stuyt Dairy Farm, had to show my partner some highlights of growing up in the Central Valley and its agriculture, so we made a stop here first.

This place is super cute, and has a great selection of cows milk cheeses. We purchased their jam ( they have a large selection to choose from) garlic herb cheese spread , and some assorted goudas. They also sell eggs by the dozen!

The person working here was extremely friendly, and gave us a map of the Cheese Trail with other locations since we were newbies to the trail.

We would give 10 Star if we could! We really enjoyed the tasting and conversation with these sweet ladies. It’s a family run business and they went out of their way to make us feel like family! The cheese is worth the drive from any distance. To describe the Diamond Reserve, it’s what my happy dreams taste like! The cumin n honey pairing was delicious. They ended the tasting with a drizzle of pear balsamic vinegar over vanilla ice cream from their newly added ice cream machine, and I didn’t realize what I’ve been missing in my life! We have been coming to Stuyt for a while now. It's our favorite Farmstead to get our favorite cheese spreads. We never leave without grabbing a dozen of their farm fresh free range eggs as well. They have remodeled their shop and it looks amazing! Their shelves are filled with goodies from other local businesses. They also have shirts and sweaters. I love the how they have a window to view the cheese making process, so cool! The whole Stuyt family are always so warm and welcoming every time we visit.
