El Norte Park — Attraction in Escondido

The playground equipment at El Norte Park definitely needs replacing. It looks very old and dingy. The thing that I thought was so cute about this park was it’s theme. This park is very long and skinny and there is a sidewalk that runs through the middle from one end to the other. Instead of just paving a straight path, they shaped it into a vine with leaves coming off the stem and stamped the Jack & the Beanstalk story into it! If you aren’t looking for this, you could miss it because the sidewalk isn’t surfaced evenly. It looks like it has been patched and redone multiple different times. However, when it was first done, I’m sure it looked so cute! Just by updating the playground and fixing the sidewalk to look even, this park would feel like it had a major facelift.

I just heard that that park is the Jack and the beanstalk story but you can't even see the letters anymore. How come it hasn't been redone? I'm trying to see it and I bet other kids would like to see also and tell other people...
