At first Kaitlin seemed on top of things reaching out to schedule the venue tour and I even comment to my FH how impressed I was. Well come to the venue to the tour and all they did was waste our time. We showed up early to make sure to also not waste the venues time and let Kaitlin know we arrived, however we were not sure where to go as we didn’t realize it was an open u pick farm. She texted back quickly to meet by the big barn. Time passed and no one came so we went to the restrooms , let them know and came back. A lady passed us a few times but never acknowledged us at the door of the barn. After 15 min passed of just waiting with no reply back we got upset as we didn’t want the tour to cut into another tour time. Finally upset on waiting we addressed the lady who walked by a few times and was now changing the trash liners. We asked where Kaitlin was she said Kaitlin only sets up the tours and she actually gives them. She acted like she had no clue she had a tour to give. The lack of care of their end for our time is unacceptable and shows that the day of the wedding would go to crap because this they can’t follow a simple timeline or respects others times. We drove two hours just to view this venue and it was a complete waste. Do...
Read moreI have 5 kids ranging from 11 to 6 Months and they all loved it. The corn 'maze' ia super easy so the younger kids enjoyed it because they could figure it out, but certainly not for avid maze goers. The super slide was one of the top attractions for the whole family and having gone on a week day after the kids had free range to ride it back to back. The hay ride is short, but the fall leaves and seeing the several pumpkin patches was view worthy. Another hit with the kids (& Dad) was the bicycle carts; the had 8 or 9 carts of varying sizes, most will adjustable seats. The bounce pillow was average. The petting section had 2 ponies and a pig that were super friendly. Another surprising hit was the corn pit... think sand box meet ball pit (pics included). It was nice that this farm/patch was opened most days of the week instead of just the weekend. We didn't go until the 26th and so the pumpkin supply was limited but the activities were worth the price of admission. There is also a play ground call led the Hollow that was entertaining for kids up to about 5-6. There are several places for photo ops and the staff was...
Read moreCorn maze is a joke and a rip off. Not an actual maze, just a main trail with a few loops that being you right back to main trail. No challenges, nothing to find. Lots of debris in trail as trip hazard. Im not talking about a few pieces here and there, but almost the entire trail. I use a quad cane to walk. Still took me less than 10 min from start to finish. Its a joke. Basically paying someone $15 to take an 8 min walk through their cornfield. It took me longer to get the splinter I got from the door to their bathrooms than the corn maze. If you love corn mazes. Skip this one. If i could leave a no star...
