I have been to a few trails riding similar to this one. Now I will start by saying the employees of the place some where nice and some were a little rude. But we were there to be with family and to celebrate my 43rd birthday. I will start with the lack of communication between employees or not everyone being on the same page with anything. We were told this and the flyer said this and then when got there things changed. The event was very unorganized very unprofessional. The concert was great the line up was awesome and the upcoming artist Tyler Braden show was absolutely great. Brantley Gilbert show was awesome. My only issue with the concert was the fact that the food ventors were outside where the concert was held and I think it should have been within the gates. That way u would miss any of the concert. The line for the concert was completely chaos I mean chaos, we had to show tickets well our bracelets and the line so one of the longest line I have ever been in. It only moved every 10 mins or so. The security for the line for the concert was none professional and it was one line for a possibility of 5000 guests. Read that again one line for a possibility of 5000 guests. The security checked the same person 3 times. No need for that. The shower house was completely beyond nasty I mean beyond nasty. I heard someone say that a jail shower house was better than that one. The map for the lay out of the land was a map from goggle and we'll we know how goggle could be. Will I return possibly but I would hope that future events are organized and thought and planned better. So over all I feel like it could have been 100 times better than it was. The employees need to work together on shifts change out so no one has to be over worked overwhelmed. I hope this will get better bc I love our doors...
Read moreMore like 2 1/2 stars. Pros: Most of the trails were fun and fairly well maintained. It rained the night we arrived heavily so that meant more mud of course, but that’s no fault of the ownership. Also the staff was very friendly and tried their best to make our electrical panel work when we were supposed to have a 50 amp hookup but it wouldn’t work, so we wound up having to use the neighbors 30 amp spot. If that hadn’t worked I guess we would’ve had a very short stay.
Cons: No sewer hookups or a dump station. No trash receptacles at the campsites. You have to ask where to take it and it’s a single dumpster across the road that’s not within walking distance. And we were told not to drive buggies on the road because the neighbors call the cops. The campsites are too close together side to side and front to back so forget parking your machine behind your camper and out of the roadway. Someone stole a small part off our buggy the first night we were there. No noise restrictions after a certain hour!! This is huge. Not everyone wants to hear your filthy rap music blaring until 3:00 a.m. Lastly, the bath house is atrocious. And way too far away from the campsites. They were filthy, no toilet paper, mud in the showers, the power on the men’s side kept going off, and just lack of maintenance. I would suggest the owners visit Windrock or Royal Blue and take a few notes on how to do bathhouses. And Ridges at Royal Blue has a 10:00pm noise cutoff time. They will kick you out if they receive a complaint.
We probably won’t ever go back, which is sad because the trails...
Read moreNot sure if we will be returning to this location due to it not being our type of trail riding, we had a good time for our first time but the location does not have as much signage as we hoped for or have seen at other locations. They label the trails from easy to extreme but it is very easy to get off on another trail due to very minimal signage. Your only option for restrooms are the portable restrooms. They have a mobile food trailer but only few options to eat and a little pricey. The closest town is about 12 min away from the park and very little places to eat there as well so definitely bring plenty of food and snacks. The trails at this location are very Rocky so if you aren’t a Rocky kinda rider this location will not be for you. Overall the location was alright for a day ride, the park is definitely in the middle of nowhere and the lady working the check in was extremely nice but i definitely believe there is room for improvement...
