The drive to parking has the same level intensity as the trail. About a mile of "paved" road then accompanied by pot holes, dips, gravel, dirt, for an off-road feel. Parking is comfortable at about 4-5 vehicles after that you question if you made the right choice to take the trail that day.
It's a moderate trail starting out downhill with a narrow walking path. Because of that be aware if you are carrying small kids or hiking accessories. It is perfectly possible to do but in certain areas don't take that for granted when you have someone or something of value.
The distance is a mile plus (out & back) but going uphill on the way back makes it feel longer. Parking and the drive there is what I like the least but I suppose it helps not be crowded. Regardless the view is...
