One of my all time favorite trails with beauty unsurpassed. A tumbling creek that runs down the side of Chilhowee Mountain into the Ocoee River. The wildflowers are varied and beautiful. Last walk we saw mountain laurel, jack in the pulpit, trillium and more. This creek has many small waterfalls and places to get in the water. Read moreI had a fun time doing this hike. You can get up close and personal with the creek if you decide to climb through the rock area in the middle. There is an easier option to take the path on the left side and see things from above as a whole as you walk the path up.
I walked a majority of the trail but ran into some fallen trees blocking the path.
