There are 13 Arkansas visitor centers in the state. This is the second one that we visited.
These visitor centers are packed full of great information, and the people working behind the desk are so helpful. Great information on the influence Jazz and Blues music had on this area.
This particular center is situated directly on Lake Chicot. It is a beautiful stop just to see the grounds and the lake.

Read moreA historic settlement sits lakeside. Prevalantly the water line has subsided leaving this once bustling area, without curated water access. The pictures of the dock's highlight the significance of the disproportiante water level.

It was a beautiful place over looking the water on any occasion. The ladies working were very pleasant and helpful. They printed us a map of exactly were we were heading. They had even mentioned where we"d possibly come across speed traps. I left feeling cooled off and confident. Im very grateful for the Lake Village welcome center and the wonderful people...
