Howarth Park: A Perfect Blend of Play and Scenic Beauty Howarth Park in Everett, Washington, is a true gem for families and individuals alike. This park offers a fantastic combination of recreational facilities and stunning natural beauty, making it a must-visit spot for anyone in the area. What I loved: Location, Location, Location: Situated close to the water, Howarth Park provides breathtaking views of the Puget Sound and the surrounding scenery. The proximity to the water adds a refreshing and calming atmosphere to the park. Fun for All Ages: The park boasts a wide range of amenities that cater to different interests. Kids will have a blast at the well-maintained playground, while sports enthusiasts can enjoy the basketball courts. Family-Friendly Atmosphere: Howarth Park is a great place to spend quality time with family. Whether it's a picnic by the water, a game of catch on the grass, or exploring the trails, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Things to Consider: Parking: Depending on the time of day and how busy the park is, parking can sometimes be a bit challenging. Crowds: Especially during weekends and sunny days, Howarth Park can get quite crowded. If you prefer a quieter experience, consider visiting during off-peak hours. Overall: Howarth Park is a wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse yourself in nature. With its beautiful setting, diverse facilities, and family-friendly environment, it's no wonder this park is a local favorite. Been here many times and always enjoy it. This park had multiple entrances. The main top entrance is through a big open field and you can walk down to the south side of the beach. There's a middle entrance and a lower entrance also where you have to drive down the east side of the park a long some paved road. There are places parking with plenty of parking spots in the lower lot. From there you can walk in into the wood trail across a small bridge and up some concrete stairs across the bridge over the railroad, then finally coming back down from the fort to the beach below. When the tide is really low, you can play on the sandy beach a couple hundred yards into the ocean; otherwise, there are plenty of room to play closers to top side of the beach. This park is dog friendly, but if you want your best friends off leash, you'll have to play with them on the north side of the park.

You'll find sea life here such as large dungeness crab, starfish, and many other types of shellfish a long the beach. The water is swimmable in the hot summer days in the south side of the park. The north side of the park has too many seaweed spots. Since it's next to the railroad track, you'll hear the train passing by once a while.

Overall, it's a good spot to take your family out for the evening, picnic or just hanging out watching the sunset. If the sun is out on a hot day, you can spend the day here beach skimming, swimming, or just relaxing...

I love visiting and exploring this park. There are 3 entrances to the park and 3 parking area’s in the park. Bathrooms are far from beach. Speed limit is not always obeyed in the park so be cautious and aware. You definitely get your steps in to get onto the beach but well worth the hike.

Bonus: Incorporating various neighborhood walks as well as mastering the many hills in and around the park. Note: The public restrooms are not open during the pandemic. Detour idea: On nice days when the tide is out you can walk to Harbourview park and Mukilteo lighthouse park which is closer via the beach route. But due be aware of the changing tide.

Intention: Made many family memories here. Great park for everyone including the dogs!! Photos are in Howarth park and adjacent neighborhood’s. Seasonal: you can pick blackberries, rose hips and tender nettles along with some amazing views!! Great sunrise and sunsets.

Meditate: on Jesus is what I love to do while enjoying this park. My hope is that you will too!!

Isaiah 30:21 NIV [21] Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Love this park all four seasons and year round. #Gods#creation#blessed....
