Beautiful trails back here. 1/3 to 1/2 of the main trail was super muddy but w/a lot of side stepping & hopping, its doable w/o getting super muddy. Started at dog park from under the shelter thing . . . Poorly marked trail w/a lot of side trails make it easy to add some extra unnecessary hiking/retracing. The start is pretty steep uphill w/switchbacks & goes almost a mile in before reaching a plateau of sorts. Went all the way to 76th trailhead & came back. Just over 4.1 miles with the 1 small detour I made by mistake.

It’s a bit tricky to navigate the hiking trails as they are interwoven with the mountain biking trails but I still had a great hike. It was cool stumbling upon a decaying station wagon in the middle of the woods. Kind of a mood.

Plenty of shade, Mainline Trail is well-maintained, muddy in spots, lots of ferns, cedars, and birdsong . similar to Redmond Watershed Preserve in that occasional noise from planes, heavy construction equipment, traffic, etc

Love Japanese Gulch. Easy walk for about a 2 mile round trip up to Boeing. Good place for dog walks. Easy access down to the beach. Mountain Biking trails. Creek running down the center of the gulch and lots of tree cover. Very nice park but primitive regarding bathrooms and standard park amenities. Not too crowded. Sometimes the train comes through and its fun for the...

Nice trails to visit, can be a pretty busy place at times but nothing wrong with that, especially with the dog park right off the Blvd. Still is irritating to many people that the city of Mukilteo did not include a water feature/fountain for both humans and animals that visit the off leash park. Thus Everett , Marysville etc all...
