Glen Lake — Attraction in Fair Haven

A beautiful, best kept secret. When we couldn't take our dogs to the beach at Lake Bomoseen, the gate attendant recommended Glen Lake. We drove down some back roads to the entry point, and immediately found some great trails.

One trail in particular leads to a small, private 'beach' area where we could wade into the water. The dogs had a great time swimming, but keep an eye out for snakes! We spent about an hour here, totally alone, before any other hikers came past.
