My husband bought a Coosaw Farms seedless red watermelon for $3.50 at Produce Junction in Wilmington DE - not a bad price but it was the worst melon I ever saw - it was soft and squishy on one half of it and caved in like a deflated basketball with a slight touch. I sat it on the counter in a big bowl and four hours later the bowl was filled with a clear smelly liquid - looked like more than the volume of the whole melon! When we cut the top off the insides were a disgusting mush - totally liquified. I returned to ask produce junction for a replacement and chose the second melon more carefully. It’s flesh was darker red than any melon I ever saw and the fruit is chewy and tough and does not even small or taste like watermelon. Smells a little like melted plastic. Not sure if bad weather or transportation or what made this brand of melon so disappointing but it is the first time in my 55 years I ever had a watermelon that I absolutely could not enjoy at all. Makes me wonder what is in the water you use on this farm and what kind of fertilizers you use. Definitely NOT a good organic natural tasting fruit. I will avoid this brand in the future.

You guys lied me about weight. Thank god I went to scale otherwise i would’ve get violation plus $2k fine . When i asked about load weight they tone me it’s gonna be 42k lbs which is totally bs. Fellow drivers if they say 58 pallets of watermelon do load all 58 pallets . My fuel tank not even full.

I'm only reviewing todays watermelon purchase from a Publix in Tallahassee, FL. The watermelon felt rubbery and was either not ripe, or either had something else wrong with it. It was not ready for the store shelf, nonetheless.

Easy on and off highway. When you enter, there will be a scale on your right. Go ahead and get on the scale empty and look to your left for the shipping clerk to give you a thumbs up. Pull forward when you get the thumbs up and walk to the shipping desk and check in. Make sure you're pre cooled to 38-40 and have a clean trailer. Very fast loading, about 30 min per truck. Once done loading, go back to the scale and weigh again and receive...

A few years ago a co worker shared some of the blackberries I had taken to work with me ... and let me know that this is not how blackberries were supposed to taste. I didn't know better. These were the blackberries in the store. They were fine. But this week I picked up a packet of Coosaw Farms blackberries from my Publix and ... wow. Now I get it. I have not ever had a good blackberry -- till now. Kudos to Publix and...
