Mobile Bay — Attraction in Fairhope

Mobile Bay can not be beaten. I've been fishing here my whole life. Brackish water north of I10 Bay way so only a freshwater Alabama fishing license is needed. When you're fishing south of Bay Way, a Saltwater license is needed. You'll find many species of fish here. Bass, redfish, drum, freshwater catfish, brim, crappie, and the list goes on and on. Be careful where you are fishing, though. The alligators are plentiful and everywhere. Dead shrimp is my go-to bait, but fresh shrimp, cut bait, worms, or live shrimp will also work well....

Everything in Mobile is worth a visit. Beautiful. I was passing through on one of my trips home to Florida & my truck broke down. I was in a tight spot, no tools, had my dog & it was 102°s outside! I made a phone call, truck was picked up and taken to Firestone. I made many more calls but no one would allow my dog to stay as well. The Mobile bay is tremendous. I miss my vacation at Carnival Cruise . The bay looks beautiful. My experience at Carnival Cruise was awesome because I have independence for whatever I want to do in the cruise. I was in the heaven.
