Mobile Bay can not be beaten. I've been fishing here my whole life. Brackish water north of I10 Bay way so only a freshwater Alabama fishing license is needed. When you're fishing south of Bay Way, a Saltwater license is needed. You'll find many species of fish here. Bass, redfish, drum, freshwater catfish, brim, crappie, and the list goes on and on. Be careful where you are fishing, though. The alligators are plentiful and everywhere. Dead shrimp is my go-to bait, but fresh shrimp, cut bait, worms, or live shrimp will also work well....
