Susquehanna Club — Attraction in Fairview Township

We had both our ceremony and reception at the Susquehanna Club. After our first visit, we fell in love. Sharen, the club manager, is absolutely fantastic to work with! She lets you decorate however you want and lets you have a lot of say in your day. She also let us visit the club multiple times and she was always quick to respond through email—and I emailed her a lot! The photos online don’t do the place justice—definitely make a trip to see it and you will probably fall in love with it like we did. The Susquehanna Club’s staff is very friendly and accommodating. We chose the buffet option, and our server assured us not to worry about not getting enough food and time to eat—they packaged us each a meal to take home at the end of the night, complete with utensils, a mini bottle of champagne and plastic champagne glasses! We were a little nervous about the fact that there was no tastings available before choosing your menu—trust me, do NOT worry about this—the food is fantastic!! We got lots of compliments about it! There are many options/levels to choose from, so you can be as basic or as elaborate as you want. And for everything that is included, the price cannot be beat! We were able to do a cocktail hour, champagne toast, buffet dinner AND 5 hours or wine and beer for the price that most places charge for just their basic dinner. And we got compliments on the wine and beer selection—many guests said that they had never seen so many options at a wedding before! And it was all INCLUDED in our package price! Great location that hosted our 2018 Navy Ball and provided us a great price. Really great to use the back access road and not have to go through the base. Staff set us up and provided helpful information. Day of the event any questions we had they had somewhere there to assist. The food was great. We had stuff chicken, beef and stuffed shells. With salad and appetizers. Location has a couple coat racks that are easily accessible. Numerous rooms and we used one for our photographer booth. Also has multiple bars here too. If you’re considering using the Susquehanna Club for your wedding…DO IT! They call this place a hidden gem for a reason! Sharen was incredible and made our day totally perfect. I had floating candles for centerpieces with fake flowers and the staff was nice enough to fill them up with water a few hours before our reception. We had our reception in the Main Ballroom and the dance floor was the perfect size for our guest count (85 people).
