What a great place, beautiful, clean and well kept, and what a wonderful crew! I booked our shelter (both halfs) for our organization's annual Summer picnic over the phone but dropped the ball and didn't follow up with the contract. So when we arrived the morning of the event, I wasn't positive we were set up! But I reached Clay at the Park office, and he assured me that he had taken care of everything, he accepted payment over the phone so we didn't have to go to the office, and we were good to go. Then a large family showed up and said they had booked half of our shelter. Another call to Clay, he spoke with them over my phone, and they were happily on their way to the correct shelter, saying "What a nice man!" A young man, Bob, came around to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed and gave me a copy of the contract. He was so nice we invited him to join us, but sadly, he and Clay had their duties to attend to. We had a wonderful day at a great spot, and knew we were being well taken care of. I highly recommend this park for events of all sizes, and it's so family friendly as well!...

This was our second year in a row I got to enjoy my wife's summer family picnic. Many generations showed and we had a nice covered area with plenty of picnic tables in the nice shade on a hot day. It also came with a recycling can, regular garbage can and even our own sink to wash dirty bowls and utensils off before heading back home. Very nice facilities and easy close parking. Just dont wash your car before coming to enjoy th park as the grassy parking area turned to fine particles of dust which if a car drove 1 MPH over 4.2 miles an hour, a cloud of brown dust followed for a minute later. Fortunately for us, wind was in our favor and blew the random clouds off in another direction. Great place for a family gathering. Appears that many of the areas were reserved and occupied and people having fun. You can also rent paddle boats and you and a friend can paddle around Blue Lake if you need to work off that big picnic lunch. Lots of mature trees to enjoy along with endless paced paths to stroll along and people watch...

Blue Lake Park is truly a wonderful destination, bustling with activity at times, but absolutely worth the trip. The park features several picturesque fishing spots where anglers can cast their lines in tranquil waters, providing a perfect escape into nature. For those who prefer to stay active, there are well-maintained walking and running trails meandering through the scenic landscape, allowing for a peaceful workout surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors.

Additionally, the park offers designated grill stations that can be reserved for family gatherings or picnics, giving visitors the chance to enjoy a delicious barbecue while soaking up the sunshine. The facility also boasts clean and accessible restrooms, ensuring a comfortable experience for everyone. Overall, Blue Lake is a unique park brimming with diverse activities and amenities, making it an excellent choice for a day of recreation...

This place is kept very nice and clean. The restrooms were clean, the grass is well maintained. You have to pay to get in which is $5 per car. You can also purchase yearly pass. To me it's worth the money. They have good size lake, have play area for kids and also picnic area with multiple tables and benches. Took my kids fishing there and hoping to get a good day, but it turned out to be a great day. All 3 of us ended up catching 13 trout. I noticed that there were a few fishing boats and kayaks also on the lake. But the boats did not go too fast where the waves they created were not too strong. So fishing there is perfect. Will come to visit again soon. Thank you, Blue Lake Park, for making our experience a blast.
