Not a huge place for hanging out in a big truck with a trailer. They go to lunch from 12pm-1pm. The check-in is a smooth process if they're not on lunch. There's no sign saying we'll be back. Drivers walk around trying to find someone but nobody is around. It would be nice if they had a sign saying "we're at lunch be back at 1pm" 🤷♂️ makes sense but it's America and nothing makes sense here. After checking in if you're picking up bulk sweet potatoes you'll either need to provide a washout receipt or they'll wash you out at this location, then you'll go to a scale and print out the ticket in the booth (they don't tell you to go in the booth and hit print on the machine), then you'll pull off the scale park and find one of the workers that loads the trailer, after getting loaded you'll repeat the scale process and print the ticket and then go to the same place you checked in. Set refer at 50° after being loaded. The scale is a big help that way you're not paying for a cat scale ticket. There's fruit flys all over the place at this place so keep the door to your truck closed at all times. Drive...
Read moreLike one reviewer said. If you've never been here before, be prepared for frustration. So, this place is a MESS. These people are hard working and seem pretty nice. That's the only good thing about it here. Pass the scales on your left side as you approach the warehouses/yard Park, and check in on L side of road between the clusters of buildings on R. You You give the person receipt of trailer wash. He gives you slip of paper with information for the loaders. Scale your empty 1st. If you speak Spanish, you will be fine. If not, good luck on finding the proper door. When you do finally find the right door, a person will come out and direct you. When done, go resale, than go back to office for Bols. If you come while it's raining, good luck. Hopefully you don't get stuck. MAKE SURE TO WASH TRAILER PRIOR.This place is a...
Read moreI feel like I got bait and switched. Was supposed to be picking up 20+ crates of cull sweet potatoes for $10 a piece. We had the date and time locked in so I went ahead and reserved a driver to go pick them up. The day before I called to make sure everything was good to go and was told the cheapest crate price would now be $25 since the ones I was told were reserved for me apparently got sold to someone else. Just make sure if you do business with them. You call before driving so you don't get jammed up. I had to kick the driver money since I had...
