Spent almost an hour and a half here last week! The location? Awesome! Scenery was beautiful and lush and green. We sampled some reds and the decadence of the wine was lovely. We met a local man there who was out with his heavy-set sister we assumed. His face was pitted and reminded me of a titleist golfball. The rotund women accompanying him was quiet and pleasant but the gentleman was brash and loud. He was wearing this funny shirt which said “I bring nothing to the table” At first every instinct in my body said RUN AWAY but I remember being intrigued by the simpleness of him. His poor sister looked like all the wine in the world couldn’t calm her soul from dealing with him on the daily. Her tired, heavy eyes told a story of deeply concealed pain and misery hiding just under the surface. The young man we learned was mentally handicapped after a devastating combat deployment to Iraq. We enjoyed a very titillating conversation with him about his experiences and how much he and the woman from the Misery movie enjoyed the local wineries. We did learn from him how bad Fallbrook has gotten as a whole. Everything from poor water quality to a rapidly growing unsheltered person community. I will 💯 return, this place had a great atmosphere coupled with interesting people who kept us entertained and smiling through...
Read moreWhen you meet Ira, Pepper and Issac you realize this place is as legit as it comes. You have to call (leave a message) and plan an appointment, but it is sooo worth it! We have taken many guests there (we are local) and the time they take and the pride they display in their craft is quite refreshing. The area and tasting room is beautiful and rustic - feels like Tuscany - and the wine cave where they have their "library wines" is super cool! I have been making rounds at all the Temecula wineries for years and honestly, the reds that come out of the Fallbrook Winery set the bar mighty high. All the 33 North labels are amazing and worth every penny and you can't go wrong with even their lesser expensive white label wines, which you can get in local markets. The the only thing this place lacks is the lame corporate vibe I've had in other tasting rooms with castle like facades. If you want to know about wine and have a real tasting room experience, this is the place to go. You can totally taste where they put their efforts: it is...
Read moreI have been to dozens of wineries and this is my favorite. Junior is the absolute best, if you want a tasting request him and you will have a great time. Every wine they make is absolutely amazing. You think you don't like a merlot? You'll like their melot. Don't like cab? You'll like their cab. Their wines are hands down the best wine I've ever had. You hate rose? You will like their estate rose, I promise. I am picky as heck and there isn't a single wine here that I dislike. I frequent the Temecula wineries and they have good wine but Fallbrook winery has better wine. I promise you, if you come to Fallbrook Winery you will be blown away by their wines. You can...
