Me and my friend went on a little day trip up to Luther, OK from Norman to pick strawberries here. It was a ton of fun and totally worth the drive! Everybody we met in this small town was very nice and hospitable. We enjoyed spending some time out in the sun and there was a sweetness in the air from the strawberries that was incredible. After we were done picking our strawberries I took a bit of one still warm from the sun to see what they tasted like and I can honestly say I’ve never had a strawberry like these before. They are so sweet, tender and delicious! I definitely recommend going if you’re looking for something fun to do with friends or family or if you just want some amazing fresh strawberries to eat and bake with.

Went out to Mcray Farms to pick strawberries with the family. Thought it would take .5 hour to find enough. Took maybe 5 minutes to find enough strawberries to fill three buckets. Large, ripe and delicious. A bit more expensive than in store pricing at $6/lb. However, it’s good to support local farms and know where your food is coming from. They have all that you need to pick and carry home. If you like dogs, even Monster is very sweet and will come up to say hi very gentle. Farm is just north of Luther and maybe 1 mile after paved ends. There are strawberry signs guiding you as well. Overall a great experience.

The strawberry patch itself is pretty overgrown, nearly 5 feet tall weeds in the back, plenty of ticks be aware and check before you leave. Also while there, a guy came from the house to talk with other employees about the guests within ear shot of another guest, not my idea of professional or respectful. If you're going to insist on being rude, check your surroundings because it can affect your reviews and...
