Lattin Farms — Attraction in Fallon

Our biggest and more well-known farm. And it's organic! Love the place and the people there. Farmer Lattin is involved in the community, and when I had a question about one of my gourds growing in my garden I went & asked a farm worker there and he dropped everything he was doing to educate me and show me their gourds as examples. Their fall festival is amazing. Local vendors,corn maze, games and lots of more awesome things to do!

Their melons are unsurpassed! YELLOW WATERMELON!!! This is the first place, other than restaurants, that I've found yellow watermelon & it is top of the line. Their cantaloupes are to die for, even the baby ones. Plums, squash, tomatoes, etc. ALL organic. Try the home made fruit breads! Cantaloupe BREAD!!!! We visited as part of a special tour. The day was beautiful and even though it's a bit early to see a bountiful Farm, we were still able to visit with the animals, visit the hoop houses, purchase some interesting jellies and other products including fresh and delicious asparagus in the store, and we enjoyed a Nevada grown meal.
