Davis & Grey Farms — Attraction in Farmersville

My (now) husband and I toured Davis + Grey Farms back in July 2022 and we immediately knew we found our wedding venue. Jill walked us through the venue and went over packages with us. She was so sweet and just an all-around amazing person! We fell in love with Davis + Grey and booked our wedding date on the same day we toured. D+G was the only venue we looked at.

We booked the all-inclusive package and it was the best decision we’ve ever made. Weddings are incredibly stressful (and expensive) and we knew we wouldn’t be able to book vendors on our own. I honestly didn’t want to be the main point of contact, so we left it to the professionals.

We signed the venue contract on a Wednesday night and by Thursday afternoon, Jill & team had booked all our vendors (catering, cake, bar, security, floral, linens, photography, DJ, and hair and makeup) and we were already receiving contracts from them.

The all-inclusive package also included access to the D+G “decor closet” so we didn’t have to buy one-time-use items like table numbers, signage, and votives.

One of the biggest reasons we were drawn to the all-inclusive package was the month-of and day-of coordination. The D+G team sent us a spreadsheet where we worked through all the details - timeline, decor, processional order, etc. They also created our timeline from start to finish and distributed it to all vendors. I didn’t have to touch base with any vendors before the wedding because D+G had already taken care of it.

On the day of the wedding, Courtney & team took care of everything. We were able to fully focus on the purpose of the day without worrying about who was in charge of which task. I know our families were thankful that they were not expected to do manual labor.

Courtney knew exactly where things needed to be and truly understood my vision. She also kept us on time and ensured our family and bridal party were where they needed to be.

Not only did Courtney & team set everything up, but they also tore everything down, packed up our personal decor, and loaded cars. We still get comments from our friends and family about how beautiful our wedding was and how smoothly the day went.

My husband and I got married and took our engagement photos at Davis and Grey Farms. Jill was a Godsend. They were the first and last venue we ever visited, b/c of (1) the beautiful property and (2) Jill & D&G Team. We specifically LOVED leveraging the all inclusive package. My husband and I look back on wedding planning as one of the most stressful things that we had to do that year, but then Jill created the all inclusive package and we jumped on it right away.

We are so so SO blessed to have worked with Jill b/c she connected us through the inclusive package with awesome vendors.

Besides what D&G Farms offers as a venue and service, here are some specific shoutout/praises about working the Jill/Boyle family: quick and flexible communication / Jill was always willing to hop on a Zoom call with us and answer all our naive questions (via text as well!) on the day of the wedding Jill and her team were THE best and most reliable bunch Jill understands the sanctity of marriage and what a wedding means. This may appear as a no-brainer, but for those of you out there looking for wedding vendors to work with, you might surprised to know that from my experience of surveying vendors in the wedding industry to work with, I've encountered a fair share of individuals and business owners who forget that their services/products impact a very important day to the beginnings of many new families (aka married couples). Jill and her team are so far from that point despite how busy they are with couples and weddings. Jill treated us as if we were the only couple/wedding in the world -- we never felt like simple "business" or revenue opportunity.

Davis & Grey Farms made my daughter's wedding the most perfect day. Jill and her staff are incredible. They took care of every detail. As the mother of the bride, I got to truly enjoy the day. Our wedding coordinator, Amber, set up the entire reception (and the staff cleaned up at the end). I shared a few ideas and they handled everything. I got to spend most of my day in the bridal suite with my daughter. I can't say enough about how smoothly the day went. Jill told me the end of the night would be my favorite. She wasn't wrong. Her staff and team cleaned up the entire wedding and packed all my personal items back into the bins. We were leaving the venue less than an hour after the bride and groom left.

We also chose to purchase the all inclusive package. This package made the planning easy. My daughter is a nurse that works nights. She had so little stress that her friends couldn't understand it. We used the recommended vendors and were happy with each one. We still have guests talking about the food at the wedding. We used Fireova Pizza. Even the men were so excited about pizza at a wedding. The cakes by Ruthie Hutson Cakes were soooo delicious and beautiful. I tell all my friends that the all inclusive package is the way to go. I can't say enough about Jill and her staff.
