The Hidden Jewel — Attraction in Farmersville

LOOK NO FURTHER, YOU HAVE FOUND YOUR PERFECT VENUE!! Wow!! This venue is incredibly beautiful. When I first met JC I feel like we got VIP treatment with him being so kind and helpful! He was able to show us around the venue and answer every question we had. Not only that but he gave us suggestions as to what he would recommend for our event! The venue itself is SOO well thought through. When you walk into the main room, your jaw will hit the floor because the decor is stunningly gorgeous. The ceilings are SUPER vaulted, the white draped cloth down to the floor, the natural lighting from the windows, the beautiful mega fireplace, and the gorgeous chandelier!! They have thought of every detail down to the bride and groom’s room. I highly recommend you go check it out! You will not be disappointed, it’s stunning! Also, shout out to Sharon! She was an INCREDIBLE helper through our whole event from set up to take down! She knows her stuff inside and out! I called about a possible location to do a wedding ceremony. I talked to the owner, and I explained to him that all we need is a gazebo and 30 chairs on a Wednesday. We will do the decorating and teardown. He told me that for something like that. He would charge 100-150.. He told me that he would open up the building for us to have access to the bathroom and if we wanted to take our time and do photos after. It's no big deal. So we were on board and as far as we were concerned. The handshake over the phone was done. He said that he would have a lady send over an invoice to lock in the day and time and he didn't need a deposit. Just to pay the 150 on the day of the ceremony. Perfect...

Well, then it went downhill after that. Two days later we got a text from this lady (The Upseller). She was talking about this and that and the prices for this and that. We explained to her that's not what we wanted and the owner already agreed to do what we wanted to do for 150. Well, over a few texts. He spoke up in the group text and said that he was sorry and would usually charge 750 for a 3 hr block and because he messed up. He would charge 500.

I had my wedding here in September and everything was beyond what I ever could have imagined for my dream wedding! There were absolutely breathtaking decorations and table centerpieces, and a beautiful glass chandelier in the middle of the dance floor. The bridal room and groom's room were incredible, with plenty of room to relax. Huge, clean bathrooms with multiple stalls as well! Sharon and J.C. were both very friendly and very easy to work with from the first time we visited the venue. We weren't sure how to do the whole wedding thing at the beginning of our nine month engagement, and Sharon and J.C. were very helpful throughout the whole planning process, and even helped us to pick out a wonderful caterer that fit our budget! They really made our dream wedding come true!! Everything was planned so well, from the layout of the room to the bounce house for the kids and beyond, that I didn't feel stressed at all on my wedding day and was able to cherish every special moment!
