Wonderfull place to stop when there's an event going on. Bathrooms are modern and big. People are friendly and chat full. All kinds of local homemade crafts. I like the beautiful pictures of wildlife. The chainsaw carving event is a must stop. Some pieces are amazing, some people have incredible talent.

We visit the Cook Forest Saw Mill Art Center whenever we are in Cooks Forest. Excellent craft shop that my wife loves to shop at. They have a vibrant theater and host many festivals throughout the season. They also have a pool on site with very nice picnic site scattered around their grounds.

A trip to Cook Forest Saw Mill Art Center is a very enjoyable way to spend time and just do a little R & R. Don't miss out drop in and...

The sawmill is a neat little spot. With a great atmosphere and very friendly employee's. It has a gift/craft market. And in the other half a theater that that puts on live performances. The sawmill also hosts a number of events during the year. Such as the chainsaw carvers round up in September and the gingerbread tour in November.
