Nice walk from Ridge Campground. The view if you make it to the top is nice, but know that you cannot go "into" the fire tower because it is locked. There was a sign that said it was due to vandalism, so that was pretty disappointing. There is a 6 person limit, so when we went we did have to wait in line, but it wasn't an unreasonable amount of time. We went after breakfast but before lunch and it wasn't super crowded. Nice views from the top and I bet in the fall it will be even prettier so I plan on going back to check it out.

The fire tower is easy to access and find, there is a 6 person limit so a line is usually formed at the bottom of the steps. I took my dog up with me and he had a blast! The only downside is you cannot see much at the top of the tower because the top is shut off on days they don’t have events going on.

Drove in using the one-way gravel road near the Park Office. Easy walk from the parking lot/picnic area/pit toilets to the tower and also Seneca Point overlook.
