The Nordica Homestead Museum — Attraction in Farmington

We didn't know that touring the museum was by appointment only but the husband of the caretaker couple opened the museum and gave us a fabulous tour. I'm biased. I love museums like this. Ms. Lillian Nordica was perhaps the greatest American-born opera soprano ever, and yet few know about her today. This small-town museum in her birth house is practically a shrine to her accomplishments. Contains some very rare pieces. Friendly folks running the museum.
