We didn't know that touring the museum was by appointment only but the husband of the caretaker couple opened the museum and gave us a fabulous tour. He was informative, welcoming and generous with his time. Madame Nordica is a many generations back relative - we both are Nortons. I did not, however, get any of her singing genes!!! This small-town museum in her birth house is practically a shrine to her accomplishments. Contains some very rare pieces. Friendly folks running the museum.
