CountyLine Vineyard & Venue — Attraction in Farmville

We just had our wedding here on April 5th. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding. The venue is beautiful enough and required minimal decoration (although you can do as much or as little as you like). The family-owned and operated business was very responsive and prompt to my needs and questions. They had a preferred vendor list and the ones I chose did phenomenal work. I didn’t feel overwhelmed or stressed at all! Everything was so well taken care of. The site was gorgeous. The farm house was comfortable and charming. My wedding was everything I imagined and better! We used the attached suite for the groom and groomsman to get ready and my husband loved the suite. He said it was the perfect place to get ready and hang out. You can tell the owners and operators take immense pride in their place. We were in peak pollen season and they took meticulous care to keep the whole venue as clean and pollen free as possible. CountyLine was an absolutely wonderful place to host our wedding ceremony and reception. The views were amazing, especially in mid October with all of the changing leaves.

The building was well thought, with plenty of room for the bridal party to get ready.

The reception room is large with high ceilings, and our hosts had plenty of tables and chairs to scale the seating for our guest count. There's a a bar area outside the main reception room, and another area for self serve food to be setup.

The owners themselves were awesome to work with. It was apparent from day 1 that they had a genuine interest in creating wonderful wedding experiences for their guests. They made sure to provide lists of vendors and local hotels. They sent checklists which reminded us to do important things - like get the marriage license! They were flexible with their venue, and encouraged us to make adjustments or move some of the larger decorative pieces to make the space work best for us.

Easiest 5 star I ever gave. Having grown up in VA and moving away to Colorado, this wedding doubled as a home coming for me and a welcoming for my wife as we moved BACK here to VA. It is the quintessential beautiful VA farm view tucked away in the woods. The trees in late October are stunning and the Conkwrights are a lovely family unit who made our day run so smoothly that we did know of a single snag that took place if it did at all! Chris has built a beautiful venue, Jennifer is a mastermind when it comes to coordinating the day and Colin is a vibe master. I highly recommend this wedding venue and book the Farmhouse too!! The post reception bonfire was so much fun and the stress if worrying about getting to the wedding venue on time on the day of is eliminated with how close it is.
