This place may be breath taking but the people running it ruin the experience. My sister in law got married here. She is a bright hard working women, who has had many obstacles in her life. This is a one day experience that you will remember for the rest of your life and I feel awful that hers will have so many bad moments that we’re caused by the people at the venue.
There are so many wrongs that went on. I will only be addressing the 2 major issues. First and foremost it amazes me that a venue with so much business would hire anyone that would feel it ok to Destroy a 2200 holographed cake. The blonde disgusting lady,who was of some type of Hispanic descent (I’m Mexican so no I am not racist) that was in charge of the kitchen decided all on her own that she was going to cut off the outter layer of fondant that was Imported from Italy because it was too hard to cut through. Then when the MOTHER OF THE BRIDE approached her of how inappropriate that call was. The incompetence in the women running the kitchen surprised me. Her response to her actions was “ the fondant was too hard to cut and I’m not going to do it so if she wants it cut with it she can come and cut it herself.”
How dare she speak to anyone that has paid good money for such an expensive venue like that. Actually reguardless you don’t talk to anyone that way that you are supposed to be serving.
Instead of having the back up of the customer of course, the coordinator or manager of venue appears. Keep in mind my sister in law had called several times before the wedding to speak to her and was never able to get a hold of her to speak of anything.
After this had occurred I feel the entire staff started to have an attitude with not only myself (bridesmaid) but many of the guest.
No only was it horrible service but the food service was rushed.
This place may have had high standards at one point I. The past but it has but continued that way.
To make matters worst, after we are continued to be “monitored” through the wedding” the cake lady who has nothing to do with anything else comes with the wedding coordinator to the bridal suite just to start hassling us about the mimosas we WERE ALLOWED TO HAVE before they got upset.
I’m telling you I’m a person who is super quick to write a wonderful review when deserved. THIS PLACE DOES NOT DESERVED HARD WORKING PEOPLES MONEY FOR A ONCE IN A LIFE TIME EXPERIENCE
