In 1995, 4.75 acres were obtained in the Hidden Lake Subdivision as a requirement of the Park Land Dedication Ordinance. The park was named Clarence Craft Park in 1999 after the World War II Medal of Honor recipient. Mr. Craft was presented the Medal of Honor at the White House by President Harry S. Truman.
