This place is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and a wonderful memorial to a hero. Quiet hidden little gem of a place in the middle of town that's off the beaten path. Please respect the park and the visitors when you visit by the way. People go here to enjoy solitude and quietness along with the nature. Also please do not leave trash.

Quiet and quant. Beautiful little creeks and pond. Very nice place for a picnic lunch. There is a gazebo, table and bench. Be careful walking on the back side of the pond between it and the houses. There were several water snakes. There is also a mated pair of geese there and she was has a nest on the far side of the pond. ...
