The property is beautiful, however, the food and the customer response left much to be desired. Some of the food was a month outdated, the quality was poor and the serving was inappropriate (butter pads were served on warm tray). I ended up ill. I phoned the local manager.
The next time I was scheduled to attend at Palisades I asked to be able to bring my own food and eat it in the dining room, since one cannot have food in their room. I was told that was fine by the seminar administrator. The day before the seminar was to start I was informed I could not bring food and hence lost the reserve payment I'd made on the food and had to cancel my position in the class.
