this is a great place to fish, but irritating because of peoples lack of common courtesy. People will throw over your line, blow cigarette smoke all over you and your family (even though smoking is prohibited and its clearly marked), push in 1ft beside you and then throw over your line, throw their lines of your crab pots...a guy on a kayak today was peddling by so close to the pier that he caught someone's line as it was cast out and then flipped the guy off after continuingto try and carry his line further out which was crossing everyone else there..so on and so forth. There are some regulars here that are pretty awesome and it looks like a lot of families enjoy the beach...but do not expect to fish comfortably or have your kids out on the pier if you dont want them exposed to continuous 2nd hand smoke, crass language, and rude...

The forest trails are fun - there is an area with a hollowed out tree that is now basically a natural slide. It was super fun to slide down!
Would like to come back on a lower tide because, from what I see in other #localguides photos, the beach area...
Read moreNot much here. A couple of swings and a little play station for the kids there is also a few picnicking tables and one of them is covered. The view is of course incredible.but what beach view isn't. Not a lot of parking but at least it's free. Overall a nice place to visit on a warm day to read a book or let the rug rats loose to burn off some energy before nap time. It's a nice little secluded beach that is never too crowded becouse of the lack of parking. If your planning on going here on a hot summer wekend you better get an early start if you want a place to park. Becouse of that limited parking it's well worth the trouble of getting there early. No elbow to elbow beach crowds just the sound of the seagulls flouting by on the light breeze and the occasional child's...
