Wonderful Walking in a Vancouver Suburb. I visit this park and trail on a regular basis. Close to home and no fee to park if you park at the VGSA parking lot. There is plenty of parking unless there are softball games going on when finding a parking spot can be challenging. Wildlife abounds . Everything from ducks, otters, beavers, eagles, hawks, coyotes, and many different songbird species. KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN FOR THE ALBINO NUTRIA ( UPDATE 01/2025 ). Excellent at all times of the year for walking and bike riding. Dog walkers abound. If you are a step-counter , walking this greenway trail, be prepared to be able to log at least 12,000 steps walking the entire greenway out and back . You can add another 5,000-8000 steps adding in the Cougar Creek offshoot trail , the Klineline Pond loop, and other various side trails. Restrooms are available at both terminal trailhead points. Handicap doable and recommended for the flat, paved, and well maintained walking path. Final take---Go! ....and...

There's a great paved path that great for an inclusive range of ages from kids strollers to learning to ride a bike all the way through senior scooters. At Klineline park end of the trail you relax at a park with a fishing pond, picnic area work playground or relax on the grass. As you head west you will pass baseball fields, ponds where you can see turtles and birds, open grasslands and a wooded trail as you meander along Salmon Creek. The far west end of the trail has more elevation changes which provide a workout that can be difficult for young kids and mobility scooters. Start at Klineline side near I-5 and head west until it starts to get to steep for your group. You can walk for quite a distance before it gets steep. Great for...

I always walk Salmon Creek trail, it is my favorite walking trail. I have seen swans, ducks, beaver, Nutrias, small snakes, frogs, Turtles (lots at turtle pond.) You can get a easy 6 to 7 miles. Many people walk this trail, so you feel safe to know you are not alone. Its beautiful and peaceful to be able to sit along the way. Trail is set up for bikes, strollers, wheel chairs, dogs on a leash (they ask people to pick up waste and place in garbage can), toilet at beginning (depending where you enter trail)and at ball field there are restrooms. There are 4 or 5 ways into trail. I am sure u can look that up. Its a wonderful trail to take family or just go alone. ...

Beautiful walking path. The long trail is 6 miles. You can stop at the little bridge, which passes over a creek and turn around at about 1.7 miles in...about 3 miles round trip. There are wetlands, trees, ble herons, ducks, geese, crows, turtles, various songbirds and even bald eagles. There is some shade on the western most half and mostly sunny on the eastern half of the trail. It is paved the whole way but there is a few moderately steep inclines. There is a baseball field here as well. When we have had heavy rain, the trail is under water about 1 mile in when heading west from the ball park.
