And to think the morons city leaders want to tear it down, which is pretty much set in stone. They would not know an awesome piece of History if it smacked them right in the face they are so stupid. They are so gung-ho on tearing it down and there is no reason to. The place is amazing. Target is closing, the mall sucks, and now they are tearing that place down. Seems like we voted a bunch of losers to run the city because there is nothing left. I would love to see that place saved but I know they are going to get their way and it will be demolished. Let's congratulate them for being a bunch...

I wish this place was open for tours. I sincerely hope the community does everything it can to restore and preserve this historical landmark. Not all history is great history, some is sad and dark. I have to say that this place, with the farms,, animal husbandry and orchards,, was on the cutting edge of mental health care decades before it...
