The historic Twin Bridges at this park are a treasure that I have enjoyed all my life. They’ve had to be rebuilt a few times due to flooding, but they remain true to the original architecture and are beautiful. There are picnic tables in the bridges and you can walk across them, but you cannot drive in them. A lovely, small state park.

What a cool double covered bridge (1 of 2 left in the US!) and there are picnic tables inside that have the neatest murals. Definitely stop if you have the chance!

Ah, the "Twin Covered Bridges!" My husband and I were married there several decades ago! They are just beautiful and so peaceful with the sound of the the creek running beneath them and a few picnic benches. I know they had been storm-ravaged at one point, but I believe they are now restored. Pre-Covid, there had been an annual Fall "Covered Bridge Festival" visiting this and several other nearby covered bridges, and including a HUGE crafts fair at the lovely Knoebel's Amusement Park in Elysburg.
