My visit here was on early spring and long before any flowers would bloom in late June to July. While access to the main parking area was closed the parking area seems able to hold 15+ cars. There are outhouse type facilities here as well. The trails around the park itself are accessible to most being well maintained and flat. My hike took me out of the park and up to Little Mt Monadnock. If you have the time and ability I do suggest this longer more strenuous hike as there are some good views...

The fam and I went for a walk in Rhododendron State Park this past weekend. It's a very short loop trail that has no elevation so even our 5 years old walked the whole thing comfortably. At the end he actually wanted to keep going.

I'm looking forward to coming back next July to catch the flowers in bloom. We were too late in the season for that, but it was still a nice...

What a beautiful botanical park. I visited in mid-July when the rhododendron grove was at 'peak bloom'. It was a wonderful sight on a warm (pushing 90ºF) morning. Fortunately, there is lots of shade all along the easy and well-maintained trail. There was also lots of shaded parking, and clean toilets. Thanks NH...

Bloom is done for the 2020 season! Just caught the tail end of the blooms this season. Great place for a good hike thru the Rhododendrons. Some of the trails are UNDER the rhododendrons! Very easy hikes, up to 2 miles of trails. Mosquitoes not bad if you keep moving. Will ocasionally run across those pesky deer flies!

Nice and small, very limited parking, short trails or 1-3 miles. It's a botanical park so don't expect lakes or large water bodies. Blooming season is in July and hence the best time to visit. Couple of benches as Picnic area, no campfire or fire. Not pet friendly. Mosquitoes might not bother if you keep moving.
