I had the dreaded spark plug blow out issue on a Ford Triton engine, and repaired it myself with a steel insert kit. About 100,000 miles later, the steel insert blew out of the same spark plug hole. The tools to repair it myself were going to cost me $500, and I really didn't want to do it again. A1 was able to repair the issue with an oversized insert for less than half of what I would have spent to do it myself. Not only that, but they got it done considerably sooner than I could have expected, they told me they were booked for about a week but if I dropped it off they would get to it if they had a chance; they called me literally the day after I had dropped it off and told me it was ready to go. 10,000 miles later and the repair is still holding up. We took our new (to us) car to A1 today just to have it looked over and make sure everything was good to go. When I went in, I mentioned to them that there was a possibility the oil needed to be changed & if so, to go ahead and do it. They checked our car as requested and let us know of a minor repair that needed to be done & told us our oil was good for another 3k miles. I really appreciated their honesty & the fact that they didn’t try to nickel and dime us by doing something that wasn’t necessary at the moment. This was our first trip to A1, but won’t be our last. The guys came highly recommended from a co-worker, and I see why! I purchased a new-to-me 2020 Chevy Silverado that had a bit of a whine in the rear differential, I guess excitement is why I didn't catch it on the test drive, so before a long upcoming trip, I decided it was best to rebuild.
