This beautiful location is a wonderful place to come and rest and lay out in the beautiful sunny Florida weather it most definitely is a bit small, but if you get there early and wake up like around early time, you will be able to find a parking spot because if you don’t, there will be no parking spots and you won’t be able to park so make sure that you get up real early And be able to have fun at this place Location has incredible crystal Clearwater and you can see beautiful fish and sometimes you can even see birds flying around, but be careful because those birds 🦅 sometimes those birds will come and whether you’re napping or trying just to close her eyes or trying to just relax those birds will come and take your food, especially if you have bugles you know those crunchy little snacks called bugles and especially if you have like potato chips or any type of substance considered the food item those incredible birds I mean they’re flying like thousands of feet up in the air, but they can see your food and they will come down and take your food so if you have food, make sure that you start it in a container for the birds won’t come and get them and also make sure that you have sandals and proper footwear. because the sand is super Duper hot I’m talking where you’re gonna jump up into the sky and your feet will get burn so make sure you also bring plenty of H2O water so you can drink and enjoy your day at the location This is this is location. Also is the perfect opportunity if you want to take great great wonderful pictures you’ll be able to see clouds and you’ll be able to see water and you’ll be able to see other people enjoy enjoying their time at this location again if you have a phone or a camera at this really is a place where you can take pictures of sand and birds and I just recommend...

NONSMOKER'S BEWARE My family and I decided to go here on part of our vacation. We wanted to visit the West Coast of Florida rather than the East Coast due to the rip currents, jellyfish warnings, and sea lice warnings. At this location It costs $5 to park and there were multiple signs stating that they were at Max Capacity. However, we had driven two and a half hours to go specifically to this place. When we arrived it adjust so happened that someone was leaving as we were arriving. So, they let us in. The beach was very clean and everything seemed to be in working condition. The people at the beach seems to mainly be locals. The water was almost like a green tea color but clear. The sand was nice and soft and the kids loved playing in it. the water was very calm like normal for the West Coast of Florida and you could walk very far out and the water was still shallow enough to where the kids could play safely. The playground and equipment was in amazing shape and it looked like a lot of fun. Our kids played here for almost 2 hours. The only issue at the playground was all of the ants which ate us up. Our biggest complaints that we had about this location was that there was a lot of green and black vegetation that was growing in the water. If you pick the sand up from inside the water the smell was absolutely horrible! The smell of sulfur was a major turnoff for this location. The green and black vegetation is something that we could have dealt with without too many issues, but the smell was something that we had a very difficult time dealing with. Smoking is allowed here and it was a big problem for us since there were so many smokers. These are reasons why we would never come back to...

This place is truely a hidden gem!!! After going to Honeymoon Island over a year, we finally gave this local beach a try - OMG glad we did as it surpassed all my expectations. Honeymoon Island is still gorgeous and don't compare but Pine Island Beach also have very special characteristics and they are:

Quality of beach - water isn't like the Bahamas but it is clear and clean. I also think the water temperature was cooler too. Crowd - I have never felt like it was jammed packed with people. Reason being is that there is a very limited parking spot creating the Crowd control. If you are not there by 10am your chances are greatly reduced. They let cars in as cars leave when it is full. Activities - this is the uniqueness of this beach. There are areas for the beach goers, area to fish, and area to launch kayaks. You can bring food or also take advantage of their food options. They also have a playground for kids and park style open grill option to BBQ if you choose. They also have a bathroom and outdoor place to rinse off (IF IT IS WORKING - this is only negative I have but I always bring my own fresh water supply to rinse off anyway). It is great place to watch the sunset as well. Perfect for children as the water level is very shallow, beach is mostly clam. Price is great at $5 and after hours it is free.

If you have not, give it a try and don't be like me that took over a year to try it. See you on...
