Visiting the dog park with a pond was an absolute joy for both me and my furry companion! The moment we arrived, my dog's tail started wagging with excitement, and I could see why. The park's beautiful setting, complete with a serene pond, provided the perfect playground for pups and their owners.
The pond was the highlight of the park, and it was a fantastic sight to see dogs happily splashing around in the water. My furry friend couldn't resist jumping in and cooling off on a warm day. The park's thoughtful design and safety measures around the pond put my mind at ease, ensuring everyone had a safe and enjoyable time.
The park's ample space allowed dogs to roam freely, interact, and socialize with other friendly canines. Watching my dog make new friends and enjoy the company of others was heartwarming.
The well-maintained surroundings and clean facilities were a testament to the park's commitment to creating a pleasant environment for all visitors. The addition of benches and shaded areas provided a comfortable spot for owners to relax while keeping an eye on their pets.
The overall atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and the sense of community among dog owners was evident. I had the opportunity to chat with other pet parents, exchange stories, and share tips – it truly felt like a close-knit dog-loving family.
In summary, the dog park with a pond exceeded my expectations in every way. It offered a fantastic blend of fun, relaxation, and socialization for both dogs and their owners. It's now our go-to spot for weekend outings, and I can't recommend it enough to fellow dog lovers. If you want a place where your pup can frolic in the water and have a tail-wagging good time, this dog park with a pond is the...
Read moreThe park is beautiful and plenty of room to run, however when I arrived in the large dog area there was a group of older ppl with their dogs and when we walked over the group of dogs surrounded and pinned my dog to the ground, a 4 month old puppy, he is a larger dog, but still a puppy, the other dogs may have intended to play, however one dog in particular was highly aggressive and my dog has a bite wound on his inner leg. When the owner came over he expressed how friendly his dog is, I said growling and biting is not friendly. Another lady needed to restrain her dog because he was growling at my dog, she explained her dog gets jealous, but at least she restrained him.
This group left the park and a couple of nice ppl and their dogs came. The man explained when he sees the man with the light brown/tan colored dog he leaves the park as he's personally seen the dog attack , and one time it was a puppy. As mine is. I also got the same story describing this dog, from a lady who came later, possibly mixed with pit bull but with a long tail. Description for identification purposes, because all pit bulls I've been in contact with before have been friendly. The lady said he's notoriously aggressive with other dogs and the owner doesn't care. Not sure what the reporting process is, but please be aware if you...
Read moreThe park is huge! Biggest in Deland, Deltona, Orange city, St Helen, Debary area. I take my pets there on special occasions. It is kind if far from where i live, unfortunately. We do not get to go as often as i would like. I have larger dogs that like to run. This park is large enough for them to open up. Sometimes they get a pack going and run their hearts out with other dog friends. Plenty of room, so on days my one dog is being ornery (some days she is good, others she just misbehaves. She will like some dogs and just not get along with others, for whatever reason), there is always plenty of space that we can go to be away from other dogs. If she is out if control, there is a third area. Not as big, but is seperation on days there are other aggressive dogs or my one is acting up. People i meet there have always been polite. Never met a bad dog there yet. My good dog has never had any problems at this park. My more ornery dog normally does well also. Just be attentive and polite and you will most likely have a wonderful visit...
