My husband and I camped here for a week back in 2019, and we have gone back, and loved this place ever since. Its absolutely beautiful here, there is plenty of space for people to spread out so they're not on top of each other, the water is beautiful (watch out for the jellyfish ) the soothing sounds of the ocean putting you to sleep at night, the magical sun rises, and sun sets paint the sky beautifully, and the peace you feel just being here spending time with you feeling or just alone with someone special its perfect. We walked the shoreline and sometimes caught crabs with our hands (yes we let them go unharmed) we would sit under the bridge and talk admiring the beautiful moon lighting up the water, and listening to the soft sounds of the water moving around us. Its quite magical. During the day we were lucky enough to see dolphins swimming not too far from us. All in all I love...

The causeway parks are a great place to catch the sun rise/set over the water. People fish, picnic, windsurfing, even throw frisbees. Restrooms here are also usually clean. If you let your pets or SA/ESA's out of the vehicle, be sure to hang on tightly. The road is right there. (Same for small children!) Stopping here gives us one last moment to reflect on our time on Sanibel and to prepare ourselves for the long trip home. I always enjoy stopping in the causeway parks to get some good pix of the water, boating or windsurfing, sunsets, and the HOPE of finding some intact shells. The causeway shorelines are full of large broken shells. Maybe I should be finding the "good" in all of those pieces and start collecting the fragments. Stopping here gives us one last moment to reflect on our time on Sanibel and to prepare ourselves for the long trip home. How about you? Have you...

Funny how Mrs. Officer Cindy wants to sit inside tax payer car in the a/c burning gas tax payer money driving around , harassing people for hanging a hammocks in Two palm trees. Saying it's a rule but does not enforce any other rules like alcohol and lauching watercraft off island . Then when asked for business card with her name she threatens with a citation to divert Me getting her card and making a complaint so here we are if your going to enforce rules they must be posted secondly she said there are too many rules to post soooo... . How are you supposed to follow rules if not posted and you can't pick and choose what rules you choose to enforce by ac and burning tax payer money siting in a vehicle talking on a loud...
