Citizen's Lodge Park — Attraction in Florida

mosquitoes 🦟 are hungry in May. nice place though lots of walking. handful of old large oaks that look great in field. secret access to the chipotle river 😉. watch for ticks off the paved trails. flooding occurs but you can still do a lot of walking up from the river. there's beat up exercise stations that have rotted, fallen over. turtles fish rodents ducks noted. *bring bread the fish n turtles come up to you. did I say a lot of walking. bathrooms are open. water fountains. strange unused buildings on grounds. disc golf is mowed well. Here in Marianna Florida " The Citizens Lodge".. is a beautiful park like area with a walking track and trail.. It is "the" gathering place for locals as well as visitors for outdoor activities from: family reunion, pinics, sunset family portraits, antique cars shows, community fundraising events or just good old Sunday evening stroll... The park is beautiful. I do wish, however, if there are events being held there that they DO NOT block off the parking lot! I tried to leave and it was blocked. The woman moved 2 cones and expected a big SUV to get through. I don't come out this way often, so I literally have no idea about events. I just don't get why anyone would try to cone off a parking lot and try to prevent people...
