Cuyler Park — Attraction in Florida

We used the softball field here for practice one night. There's lights that aren't working in the outfield, so there's dark patches. It's across from the playground and there's very little parking close by. But there are bathrooms! They just were locked though 🤦🏼‍♀️. That being said, I've lost less blood donating to red cross than what the mosquitoes took from me that night. I must have killed six or seven, and missed another hundred. And here's the thing; they got in the car with me and I brought at least two home. They have incredible wind tolerance too because despite having the windows down to disrupt their flight patterns, they still managed to forage off me during the ride home. It’s wonderful historical homestead and locus of the tragic murders Mr & Mrs Harry T Moore on Christmas early-morning in 1951. I didn’t Visit the homestead (Cuyler Park) but researched documents relevant to the Murders.

This park is worthy of visiting both to honour the Moore Family and to remind us of horrible attitudes that were manifest and sadly nurtured in our recent past ( last 75 years of our history.)

Be vigilant this incident must be used to foster better love of our fellows and not to “get even for past SIN’s,” truly Our GOD will attend to that.

Love one another as you love yourself, treat them the same...
