We went here in Spring 2017 we booked through Expedia at last minute for 5 days. We got there and we're impressed we had a brand new 5th wheel camper on waters edge. But our 5 days was cut short to 2 nights as we were told Expedia double booked us. After hours on the phone with Expedia and them crediting us 3 days at the Marriot in Key West we went home wanting to come back and spend our entire next vacation in the new camper on waters edge. Fast forward a year and I made reservations for this April back in December. I called Geiger Key directly as hoping to avoid any problems with a 3rd party booking. I made our reservation for 10 days and specifically requested the camper on the water that we stayed in last year. We planned our vacation around when that one was available for 10 days. We arrived at the marina to be given a camper that was about 15 years old, half the size and no where near the water. We were told the one we requested had mildew smell and had a party of 7 checking in the following day. That was their only camper that accommodated that many people. They tried to blame Expedia again but I informed them I booked direct through the woman that was telling me it was Expedia fault. I demanded our money back which they did however we stayed the one night due to our non refundable deposit and to allow time to find different place to stay in the keys at the last min again. We will never return these people are rude and almost ruined our vacation not once but twice and then they blame Expedia. They use the only nice camper for min stay for all first time guests so you get hooked and then use the old bait and switch technique. On top of that they are rude. Don't stay here unless you have your own camper but even then there are much more beautiful RV sites to stay numerous places along Overseas Highway from Islamorada to Key West that are on open water and the people are amazing. I will also be contacting Expedia so they don't continue to fix problems they are not responsible for in hopes they don't allow this company to book...
