I just took my son here today, we had a wonderful time. We have never been before today. The staff was super friendly and kind. I never really write reviews in general so this place is very special to make me take time to write. You can see just by talking to them that they have a genuine love for animals and people and the work they do. The food for the animals was well organized, labeled, and fresh. I thought it was really clever that they reuse those drink holders from restaurants and then put cups with the food and label it all on each side so you know what to feed each animal.
All equipment was clean and working. They have a nice center patio area with lots of fans, shade, tables and chairs with a ton of kiddie rides, bikes, toys, playhouses, etc. for your child to play with. They also have a giant playground, water pump activity, bounce house, zipline, mini golf, train ride, and more. I don't even think I listed everything they have to offer. It was a pleasant surprise for sure.
I was unsure about this place because of the current legal battle they are in and some bad reviews, but I was honestly shocked by how well kept and how amazing this place is. It went beyond all expectations. I came at 10:00am when they opened today. The staff was immediately busy cleaning pens, feeding/helping animals, and upkeeping everything. They were busy the entire time but they took the time to eagerly greet you, ask you if you need anything and took their time with you. They do not micromanage you which is great. They don't ask for $2 dollars for every single attraction like every other place. You pay for your ticket and everything is included except for animal food which seems extremely fair to me.
These animals are rescue animals as they have stated before. I was worried about the one review with the skinny looking cow and the one with the chickens, but when I went today that cow looked much healthier and the chickens look completely normal. All the animals are clean and very well cared for and very loved.
The only questionable part of this ranch was the petting exhibit. The rabbits were very stressed and hiding and did not want to be pet, but rabbits can also get stressed due to heat and it was extremely hot today. Perhaps, just as a word of advice to help make this place better, they should not use the rabbits for the petting exhibit if they are stressed and just keep some of the friendly baby goats instead.
This place is a toddler's paradise. If you have a toddler or small child,...
Read moreThe name says it all. Good Mood Ranch in East Naples is an upbeat place where kids can pet and feed animals, explore a dinosaur village, go on a short zip line, enjoy the playground, ride small carts, and more. We had a fun time at Good Mood Ranch. We really liked getting to see the farm animals, especially the birds like the emus and pheasants. It’s unique to the area because of its farm-style atmosphere and, of course, the petting zoo. The owners were very friendly, too. Good Mood Farm is an agritourism business that combines animals, plants and attractions activities. There are more than 400 animals representing several dozen species, including rabbits, pigs, cows, donkeys, golden pheasants, Japanese roosters, Indonesian black chickens, Brazilian chickens, rhea and goats. There is an expansive guinea pig city with about 50 houses and other buildings for the animals to roam around. A highlight at Good Mood Ranch is an alpaca named Sonic that loves to give kisses. Guests can buy lettuce, carrots and pellets to feed the animals in the petting zoo-style setting. At times, guests can also help bottle-feed...
Read moreSo we went here today and our crew of 7 were all not only disappointed but shocked. Most of the farm animals had NO WATER mid day in Florida. The owner brushed it off like it was no biggie. There were 6 birds/ducks stuck in a cage together(Refer to the video) and the baby duck along w many chicks were panting violently laying down. I said this ducks dying and I grabbed it water myself. I checked back on him many times and he was still desperately drinking water. Baby cows- no water. Pigs- no water. Staff= hanging out doing nothing. Idk how anyone could have positive experiences while watching emaciated animals dying from horrific conditions, no water and cages that were stupidly small. Mom bunny w babies had no food and the mom’s eye was oozing w infection, not pink eye, an horrible infection dripping and looks like her eye will need to be removed. And yes I have reported the animal neglect&abuse. It’s hard to tell in the pics but not 1 of these animals had a drop of water 87* out. All the children were upset all day along w the adults. Sounds like new management or...
