Me and my husband were really excited about going to this particular corn maze. We drove about 2 hours to get there and once we got there we bought tickets to do everything. Unfortunately upon buying the tickets and entering, we walked around and realized that this is was an event more suitable for children. Being that we had just spent $40 to get in and didn't buy or do any of the activities we asked the lady at the ticket booth if it was possible to get our money back. She told us she didn't see an issue with it and would call her boss. Upon waiting about 20 minutes for the owner to get there she then explained how she didn't understand why we would want our money back and that if we went to Disney would we expect a refund? We tried explaining that we thought it would be an environment were there are both kid and adult activities, that we didn't do any of the activities (just walked around for about 5-10 mins) when we then went to see if we could possibly get a refund but if we couldn't it would be fine. She continued to argue with us and even called my husband a liar because she looked on her computer system and it showed we had been there for about 30 mins which was correct, but 20 of those minutes were spent waiting for her to show up. She gave us such a hassle and argued with us for about 10 mins to then tell us she could only give us half of what we paid. I believe it was beyond ridiculous and she was completely rude just for a $40 refund. I would not recommend this place what so ever. Don't waste your money or gas. I'm a firm believer on spending my money on events and organizations that are worth it. The owner of this event isn't very nice or understanding which is why I am writing this review which is something I never do. As a owner of an establishment you should take care of your customers and make sure they are satisfied with your product. I would suggest her taking a few management classes for any future...
Read moreThis is a great venue. Attended today for the fall festival. It kind of has a Hunsader Farms feel to it only on a considerably smaller scale.
There is so much for kids to do here, there is even pretty good food at a reasonable price.
Some minor updates could go a long way like replacing the cornhole boards and adding a few small sun shades with benches closer to the kids play area. Maybe consider leaving the pumpkins in the field so the kids can pick them and not just pick one out (finding it is half the fun!). A small petting zoo would be an amazing addition (even if just for the weekend)!
The grass seemed a little long to me in some spots.
There was a great selection of vendors. Not too much of any one thing. I really enjoyed seeing the student vendor participation. It's inspiring to have that level of youth entrepreneurship in our community.
There was no shortage of families and kids but it didn't seem like there were a lot of shoppers.
It could be worthwhile to consider setting the vendors up outside of the entrance building so if people are interested only in shopping the vendors they wouldn't have to pay to get into the event center (and the vendors do pay to...
Read moreFirst time visiting this place for a fall festival. It was affordable and fun. Lots to do for the kids plus several things even adults would enjoy. The water bottle cannon was definitely the best for adult fun and the kids love it as well. Staff was very friendly and helped with anything needed. You can pick sunflowers for a buck a piece and these are the most gorgeous and big sunflowers I have seen. You can also get your pumpkin there. For the price it was fun and turned me back into a kid for a day enjoying all those kid games with my...
